Chapter 7: On Humility

The tenth degree of humility
is that he be not ready and quick to laugh,
for it is written,
"The fool lifts up his voice in laughter" (Eccles. 21:23).

Some thoughts:

So I am sitting here trying to think of something I haven't already thought about this particular passage and I'm stumped.

Certainly we laugh too easily and too often at the wrong things, but joyous laughter that springs from the heady enjoyment of a beautiful day or the recollection at how much God loves us, that i think is very compatible with the RB.

What do you think? Have I missed the boat?
